Military Family Life Counseling (MFLC)

This program provides short-term, non-medical, solution-focused brief counseling, education, and support services to all branches of the military and their families. Counseling services are provided by counselors who are licensed and master’s-level or above. It is a confidential and private service in which no records are kept, except in those duty-warn-situations (which is handled utilizing DoD protocol). The duty to warn situations include: child abuse, domestic violence, illegal activities, threat to harm self or others, and sexual assault. There is flexible service delivery to include outreach and presentations, such as Stress Management. The counselors rotate every 180 days and operate on flexible hours. Services can be provided on or off the military installations, except in your home or your car. Services are provided to individuals, couples, families, and children. The Adult MFLC program is based out of the Airman and Family Readiness Center. The Child MLFC program is based out of the Child Development Center and Youth Programs Center.
