One-on-one assessment for individuals, couples, and families. This consultation is geared to facilitate understanding, build skills, and increase effectiveness of daily living. Specific areas of concern may include grief, communication, divorce, moving, etc. Referrals are made to on and off base agencies as needed.

Are you an Air Force spouse that wants to expand your military knowledge? This spouse orientation offers valuable tools to help you successfully adapt to the military lifestyle. We provide lunch, guest speakers, games, and assistance with childcare. Bring a friend with you for this day of fun! Registration required. Call the A&FRC at (229) 257-3333.

Couples Communication

Good communication is the key to a successful relationship. Learn communication skills and conflict resolution techniques that really work! Couples will be introduced to the “Five Love Languages” approach to building a lasting and loving relationship.

Key Spouse Initial Training:

One day mandatory training held quarterly from 9am-1pm. Provides newly appointed Key Spouses with a basic knowledge about the resources and helping agencies on base and in the local community. Topics include Suicide Prevention, Master Resiliency Training, Communication, Identifying Helping Agencies, and the 4 Lenses of Leadership personality assessment.  Before registering, please make sure you have met with your Unit leadership (Commander and First Sergeant). Requirements for registration and certification of this program are:

  • Must have an official Appointment letter signed by Unit Commander
  • Must register as a Volunteer through our Volunteer Program and complete the Volunteer Agreement DD Form 2793 (Non-Appropriated)
  • Must attend upcoming Initial Training course. Additional mandatory training for new Key Spouses includes AF Heart Link.
**Childcare is provided through FCC for the Key Spouse Initial Training only. Bring Appointment Letter to A&FRC for a voucher.

Key Spouse Quarterly Networking:

This is an opportunity for networking held Bi-Monthly for trained and active Key Spouses. Workshops are during the day from 11:30-1:00 or in the evening from 6:00-7:30pm to provide a convenient time for all. Topics vary with subject matter experts leading the topic of conversation – from Communication, Program Management, Financial Matters, Resiliency, etc. Topics are developed based on the need at the time of the workshop.
